A simple bedstead in antique-stained solid Radiata pine, with a tall solid wood headboard and footboard constructed from horizontal wooden planks. Available in three sizes, Queen (4’6”), King (5’) or Super-King (6’). Designed to fit standard UK mattresses (sold separately), the bed has a slat base and requires minimal self assembly (spanner provided).Material

The Celebes Collection is constructed from thick rough sawn Radiata Pine, producing a sturdy range of furniture with a farmhouse feel. The solid construction is complemented by the warm tones of the wood and a smooth wax finish. The pleasing attention to detail with traditional dovetail joints and ‘gun metal’ hardware add testament to the solid construction of this collection.
By 1780, the high backed settee was being replaced by low back sofas and this led to the development of sofa tables which stood against the back of the sofa and could be used by anyone sitting on the sofa to put down a book or a cup of coffee - hence coffee table!
