The furniture is made from Radiata Pine wood which is hand finished with a smooth waxed rich Jacobean Walnut finish that nourishes and protects the wood and enhances the natural grain. The wood is kiln dried preventing size distortion and splitting, all joints are expertly finished with dovetail or pegged joints.
Early carpenters who worked on furniture were known as joiners whose skill was in the making of joints.
