Kris Eggshell Vase

D12cmxH50cm. This product is hand crafted using the traditional Asian lacquer ware technique. The process takes over six weeks from start to finish and involves many stages to achieve this beautiful result. The discarded shells from duck eggs are toasted to achieve the different colours and carefully applied to ceramic ware. Layers of resin are added and sanded back until the smooth shiny surface is complete.
