Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of Tangkoko. You may not modify, distribute or re-post something on this website for any purpose.

Accuracy of content

Tangkoko has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been fairly described. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. All prices are displayed inclusive of VAT. Packaging may vary from that shown. The dimensions given are approximate only. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tangkoko disclaims all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy of the information contained in any of the materials on this website. Tangkoko shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the materials on this website.

Tangkoko makes every effort to ensure that this website is free from viruses or defects. However, we cannot guarantee that your use of this website or any websites accessible through it won't cause damage to your computer. Availability

All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available by emailing you, in the first instance. If a furniture item is 'out of stock' you can request to be listed on the waiting list. Requesting to 'reserve an item' is not a firm guarantee that you will receive the item. You may be required to place a deposit to secure the item.

Ordering errors

You are able to correct errors on your order up to the point at which you click on 'submit' on the final page of our ordering process.

Delivery charges

Delivery charges vary depending on the type of products ordered and cannot be refunded. For full details please refer to our Delivery Services and Charges section.

Acknowledgment and acceptance of your order

If you have supplied us with your email address, we will notify you by email as soon as possible to confirm receipt of your order and confirm acceptance of your order.

Delays

Occasionally, the manufacture of your furniture may be delayed. This can be for various reasons such as material shortages, import delays or higher than anticipated demand. We will, of course, make every effort to keep you informed and offer an alternative where appropriate.

Cancellation right

Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel the contract at any time up to 7 working days starting the day after receipt of the goods. For details of how to exercise this right please see our Returns and Refunds section.

We have placed links on this website to other websites we think you may want to visit. We do not vet these websites and do not have any control over their contents. Tangkoko will not accept any liability in respect of the use of these websites.

Exclusions of liability

Any disclaimers and exclusions of liability in these terms & conditions shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Tangkoko or any of its employees or agents or fraud. These disclaimers and exclusions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. If any provisions of these disclaimers and exclusions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

This website, any content contained herein and any contract brought into being as a result of usage of this website are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law. The parties to any such contract agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. All contracts are concluded in English.

Please remember to make a note of your furniture's dimensions and check that it'll fit into your house and into your chosen room.

Cancellations & amendments

As soon as you realise that you need to change your order please contact our team on 0161 850 5656 and we will help you. You will be asked to confirm the change or cancellation in writing/email. If you amend or change your order, you may find there are changes to your delivery timescale and/or the price you pay for the item (as you'll be charged the current selling price on the day you amend or cancel the order). You have a legal right to cancel your order up to 7 days after receiving your goods. You should note that you have a duty of care for the products during this cancellation period. If collection of an item is required, we will charge you the cost of collection (up to £100) of which you will be notified at time of cancellation.

Delivery

All furniture orders are delivered within the UK mainland by our home delivery service. For Special Care Delivery Service each vehicle has a trained crew of two men, for Standard Delivery a one man service is provided.

Delivery arrangements for furniture

When your order is ready, our home delivery service will contact you to confirm your delivery date. Your delivery won't happen until you've been contacted by phone or by letter and you have accepted the delivery time offered. To help you plan your day, at the time of booking, you can ask the crew to contact you up to an hour before expected delivery. On the delivery day the crew should contact you to inform of any delay. If you are unable to accept the delivery offered or you wish us to hold your order for a period of time, we can provide a storage service at a cost of £25 per week.

On delivery

Before our crew arrive, please ensure that normal ground floor access and the room itself have enough space for your new furniture to be delivered. If you have opted for Special Care Delivery Service then our crew will unpack and assemble your furniture. Our Special Care Delivery drivers and staff will deliver through ground floor and basement level only. We do not have equipment or insurance to winch items through windows. All packing materials will be taken away, disposed of and recycled where possible. To make sure you're completely satisfied the crew will ask you to inspect your items carefully. After this, you'll be asked to sign for the furniture. All items must be signed for at the point of delivery. In signing the delivery note, you are acknowledging that the item(s) delivered are in good condition and in no way faulty or damaged. It's therefore essential that you are present. If you're not satisfied for any reason, please inform the crew. Should no one be present to receive the furniture at the pre-arranged time, a relevant delivery fee will be charged, (irrespective of your invoice) for re-delivery. 48 hours notice is required for cancellation of a pre-arranged delivery.

Delays

Occasionally, the delivery of your furniture may be delayed or postponed. We will, or course, make every effort to keep you informed and discuss revised delivery timescales.
